The Committee has organised some Doutta Galla Tennis Club Jumpers / Hoodies for sale. The Jumpers cost $35 each, are available in several Sizes and are available in Blue or Red.
They are provided through TeeSpring.com, so in order for our Jumpers to be created, 20 people need to agree to purchase them.

Congratulations to the Club’s Pennant Team who have advanced to the Pennant Finals Round next week. The Team finished on top of the ladder after the regular season and will play in a Home Final next Sunday afternoon at 12:30pm against Eaglemont.
The Pennant Semi Final is likely to use all three Courts next Sunday, which means that the will likely not be any Court available for Members to use.
The Committee wishes the Team luck next week.
The Fixtures for the Spring 2014 NSNTA Competition are now available on the NSNTA Web Site (www.nsnta.org) .
The Season commences over the next two weeks on the following Dates:
Ladies – Tuesday 5th of August
Mixed – Wednesday 13th of August
Mens – Thursday 7th of August

Congratulations to the C Special 4 Unisex team who won their Grand Final recently. The Team was the same as the recent Semi Final win, consisting of Callum Brown, Campbell Goring, Matthew Pesavento, Jared Gaylor, Nikola Savic and Adele Adam defeated Buckley Park at West Brunswick.
The Committee congratulations all of our Junior Teams for a great season, and we look forward to next season which starts in late July.
The Committee is asking for Members to help at the Club on Sunday. There is a bit of gardening to be done and tree branches to be removed to make way for some improvements at the rear of the Club House.
Any help from 1:30pm this Sunday would be greatly appreciated. For more information or to let us know you’re coming, please send the Club an Email.
The Lights at the Club were fixed over the weekend and Members are welcome to use the Lights again.
The Lights on Court 1 at the Club are in need of repair and will be unavailable for Night Tennis for the next few days.
The Committee asks that Members do not turn on the Lights on Court 1 until further notice.
Congratulations to the Club’s C Special 4 Unisex team who won their Semi Final on Saturday. The Team, consisting of Callum Brown, Campbell Goring, Matthew Pesavento, Jared Gaylor, Nikola Savic and Adele Adams defeated West Brunswick at Riverside.
The Team now play Buckley Park at West Brunswick in the Grand Final this Saturday. We wish the Team luck in their Grand Final.
Congratulations to the Club’s B Grade 1 Ladies team who recently won their Grand Final. The Team, consisting of Ashely Mann, Vicki Cohen, Jan Fielding and Karen Relf who played on the night and Annette Mann, Renee McCallum and Annette Plummer who played throughout the season defeated Keilor at Buckley Park 30 games to 22.
The match started off evenly, with Doutta Galla winning the first set 6-2, and losing the second set 3-6. The third and fourth sets were similar, with Doutta Galla having a great third set winning it 6-1 but losing the forth 3-6. The Team then held on to win the last two sets 6-2 and 6-5.
The Committee congratulates the entire Team and thanks all Players for a great season.
The next Season starts in early August and the selection committee will be submitting teams very soon.
The Club’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday the 15th of June at 7:30pm. All Members are welcome to attend.
The Club’s Committee for the 2014 / 2015 year will be elected as well as any upcoming Issues or Projects within the Club will be detailed.
