The Doutta Galla Club Championships for 2025 have been completed, with a wide range of people competing in the tournament. Congratulations to the winners
Boys Doubles: Michael defeated Warren (6-1, 4-6, 10-7 STB)
Boys Singles: John defeated Gus (8-2)
Mens Doubles: Walter and Warren defeated Ben and Michael (8-2)
Mixed Doubles: Annette and Michael defeated Ashley and Andrew (8-6)
Boys Doubles: Ansh and Ethan defeated Emaan and Gus (8-6)
The Club’s Annual Club Championships have been announced and will be held during late November, early December with the finals to be played on Saturday 13th December.
The format will include the following events, if there is enough interest:

Mixed Doubles
Juniors Singles Round Robin

The Club’s Annual Christmas Party is on this Saturday 7th December from 6pm and the Club. Please come and join the committee and members in celebrating the year.
The Club Championships Finals will be played in the afternoon and the the Junior Team Medallions for the year will be presented.
The Club will provide a Barbeque and Soft Drinks as well as some wine and beer. Please bring a salad, dessert or anything else you would like to share.

The entries for the Doutta Galla Club Championships for 2024 are now open. Matches are to be played during November 2024 with the Finals being played on Saturday 7th of December.
Entries close Thursday 7th November, with matches to commence on the weekend of Saturday 16th November.

The Events held will be dependent on the number of entries. Graded refers to Events that will have handicap points applied to the stronger players.
Matches may be played outside the schedule when organised between players, so long as the matches to follow are not held up.

We are pleased to announce the running of this year’s Club Championships!
This is an exciting club event that spans many years of tradition – let’s have a really fantastic 2023 Club Champs! We are encouraging all Members to play.
The following Events are available:
Mens Open Singles
Ladies Open Singles
Mens Doubles
Ladies Doubles
Mixed Doubles
Boys Singles
Girls Singles
Junior Round Robin Singles (C and D Grade)
Junior Round Robin Doubles
The final list of Events available will be dependant on numbers.
The format of Events are:
Open Singles – Best of two sets to six games, with tiebreak at six-all. If two sets all, a Super Tiebreak to be held of first to ten points. Grand Final is the best of three sets to six games, with a tiebreak at six-all.
Doubles Events and Junior Singles Events – Pro set up to eight games, with a tiebreak at seven-all.
Junior Round Round – To be determined depending on numbers.
Once the Schedule has been release matches can be arranged during the week or on alternate dates/times at mutual agreement. Matches must be completed prior to the next match’s scheduled time.
This year events will take place over the weekends of :
November 11th/12th
November 8th/19th
November 25th/26th
The Grand Finals will be played on Saturday 2nd December, which is the same day as the Club’s Christmas Party.
To sign up please complete the Sign Up Form. The Entry Fees are payable within the form using PayPal. No entries will be received without payment. Entries close Friday 3rd November 2023.
Please organise your matches with your opponent(s) at an agreed time for both. Matches must be completed by a certain date as outlined on the Schedule page.
When you have scheduled your match please advise Warren of the time and after the match, the result. Balls will be provided by the Club for each match.

Matches are played during November with all of the finals being held on Saturday 3rd December 2022, the same day of the Christmas Party.

Graded Events will have handicap points applied to stronger players to even up matches and make for interesting games. The format of Events will be determined upon the number of entries.
Entry fees are proposed as:
$15 per Singles entry and $15 per Doubles pair entry.
For the Junior Round Robin $5 per player
All fees go towards providing Balls, Trophies and Prizes etc.
