Mens NSNTA Spring Dates Survey

Last season many teams across the association had issues fielding teams on the Thursday Night before the new AFL Grand Final Friday Public Holiday and there were many forfeits.

Therefore the NSNTA have asked the Clubs if they wish to play on the Thursday Night before the AFL Grand Final Friday Public Holiday.

This causes an issue as the Mens competition already skips a week due to Oaks Day. So the NSNTA is interested if teams wish to play on Oaks Day.

The Club is looking to the Mens Teams for their opinion, so we have created a poll on our Facebook page so we can provide our formal response. Vote on the poll here:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/douttagalla/permalink/10155067210342403/

The options are:

  • Don’t play on Thursday before AFL Grand Final Friday and play on Oaks Day.
  • Don’t play on Thursday before AFL Grand Final Friday and don’t play on Oaks Day (season starts one week earlier).
  • Play on Thursday before AFL Grand Final Friday and don’t play on Oaks Day (current arrangement).

If you have any questions please ask away and we are happy to answer them.

If you don’t use Facebook you’re welcome to send the Club an Email with your vote.
