Club Championships Entries Now Open

The entries for the Doutta Galla Club Championships for 2024 are now open. Matches are to be played during November 2024 with the Finals being played on Saturday 7th of December.

Entries close Thursday 7th November, with matches to commence on the weekend of Saturday 16th November.

The following Events are planned:

  • Mens Singles – Open Age
  • Ladies Singles – Open Age
  • Mens Graded Doubles
  • Ladies Graded Doubles
  • Mixed Graded Doubles
  • Mens Graded Singles
  • Ladies Graded Singles
  • Junior Boys Singles – Under 18
  • Junior Girls Singles – Under 18
  • Junior Boys Doubles
  • Junior Unisex C/D Grade Singles
  • Junior Unisex C/D Grade Round Robin

The Events held will be dependent on the number of entries. Graded refers to Events that will have handicap points applied to the stronger players.

Matches may be played outside the schedule when organised between players, so long as the matches to follow are not held up.

Working Bee is on this Sunday

The Club’s Annual Working Bee is on this Sunday 13 October from 12pm to 3pm.

All are welcome to help perform key maintenance on the Club and ensure it stays beautiful for another 12 months.

Financial Adult and Family Members that attend are entitled to receive their $40 Maintenance Levy.

Any gardening equipment, wheelbarrows, shovels and cleaning equipment you could bring would be most helpful.

Annual General Meeting scheduled for Sunday 16 June

The Club’s Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Sunday 16 June 2024 from 7:30pm at the Clubhouse.

The Meeting will involve a summary of the year within the Club as well as any other business for the coming year. The Committee as well as office bearers for the 2024 / 2025 year will also be nominated.

All Members are welcome to attend the AGM. If any Members are unable to attend and wish for a topic to be discussed, you are welcome to send the Club an Email and we will place your topic on the agenda.

Open Day is on Next Sunday

The Club’s Open Day will be held on Sunday 11th February 2024 from 10am to 4pm.

All are welcome to attend a free day of Tennis, including old and young, hosted by our Club Coach, Guccione Tennis. The Club will also be providing a free BBQ as well as Face Painting (from lunchtime onwards).

Christmas Party this Saturday

We are trying again to hold the Club’s Christmas Party after the recent Party was cancelled due to heavy rain.

So come down this Saturday night 16th December from 5:30pm to approx. 7:30pm for a small BBQ with drinks provided.

The Junior Team Awards and Trophies will be presented at 6:30pm.

All Members and friends of the Club are welcome.

The Club’s Annual Christmas Party is on Saturday 2nd December from 6pm onwards.

A BBQ, Beer, Wine and Soft Drink are provided. We ask that you bring some salad a dessert or anything else you wish to share.

The Club Championships Finals will be on at the time as well as the Club’s Awards and Presentations for the year and the Junior Team Medallions.

All Members and friends of the Club are welcome.
