Club Closure to remain until further notice

Today the Victorian Government announced a relaxation of restrictions implemented to stop the spread of the Coronavirus.

Despite this advice, please note that the Club will remain closed until further advice is received from the Moonee Valley City Council and Tennis Victoria.

The Committee is expecting to receive confirmation shortly and we will contact our Members via our Web Site, Facebook Group and Email Newsletter when the Club will reopen again for use by Members and the details of any additional rules and conditions that may remain in place.

Update on the Closure of the Club

The Committee wishes to provide an update to Members on the Closure of the Club.

By the orders of the Victorian Government and the Moonee Valley City Council the Committee have been asked to close the Club until further notice. We have lowered the nets and have re-arranged the furniture for additional security. The Book a Court System is disabled.

We ask that no Members attempt to access the Club while it is closed.

We are hoping to re-open the Club as soon as the restrictions are lifted.

We wish all of our Members well during the isolation measures and hope everyone supports the social distancing restrictions. The more everyone complies with these restrictions the sooner all of this will be over.

We will all certainly all be keen for a game when this is all over.

If you have any questions or need to access the Club you are welcome to contact the Committee.

Club Closed due to Coronavirus Social Distancing Measures

The Moonee Valley City Council has requested that all local sports clubs close until further notice. This is a part of the Moonee Valley City Council, the Victorian Government and the the Australian Government’s Social Distancing Measures implemented to stop the spread of the Coronavirus.

Therefore the Doutta Galla Tennis Club will be closed until at least the 13th of April 2020.

Members are not permitted to access the Club for social play until this restriction is lifted.

The Committee apologises for any inconvenience this may cause to Members.

If you have any questions you are welcome to contact the Committee via our Contact page.
