The Doutta Galla Tennis Club’s Christmas Party for 2019 is on tonight, Saturday 7th of December, from 6:30pm.
The Club Championships Trophies and Junior Awards will presented and it’s a great chance to catch up or meet other members of the Club.
The Club will be providing a Barbeque, Drinks and Nibbles. Please BYO Salads, Desserts and anything else you would like to share.

With the NSNTA Semi Finals last week and the NSLTA, NSJTA and NSTA finals commencing as well, the Club has quite a few teams in semi finals and grand finals in the coming week:

With the new format of Club Championships running really smoothly, there are some important changes for those involved in all doubles events in regards to format and timelines.
After seeing how many matches are still needing to play in the round robin, the Club Championship Referees have made the decision to remove semi-finals for some Events and extend the period for round robin matches to occur.
The following Events that are affected:
For these events the round robin period will be extended until 24th November with only the top two teams moving through to play a grand final during the finals period of 25th November – 7th December.
All Singles events have not altered and still need to be finished by Sunday 10th November where possible.
Please also remember that all fees are to be paid before the end of the tournament. Each fee is payable for each event you are entered in. All fees need to be paid to the Club by either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or by placing money in the box in the Club House.
The Club Championships 2019 Mini Site has been updated with all of the Results recorded so far.

The Club will hold its Annual Working Bee this Sunday 13th October from 12pm to 3pm.
All are welcome to help perform key maintenance on the Club and ensure it stays beautiful for another 12 months.
Financial Adult and Family Members that attend are entitled to receive their $40 Maintenance Levy.
Any gardening equipment, wheelbarrows, shovels and cleaning equipment you could bring would be most helpful.
The Draws are now available for the Doutta Galla Club Championships for 2019.
The first round of the tournament will follow a Round Robin format, where each player in the draw is to play each other player.
The scheduling of matches is to be arranged between each opponent within the draw. For contact information for a Player please contact the Club and this will be provided.
All Round Robin matches are one set of first to 8 games, with a tie break at 7 all.
Advancing to the Semi Finals will be determined by the number of games won in your event, with player with the highest number of games advancing.
All reasonable attempts need to be made to play the Round Robin matches by Sunday 10th November. Semi Finals will be scheduled from Monday 11th November.
All fees need to be paid to the Club by either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or by placing money in the box in the Club House.
If paying by EFT please put your name and Club Champs or CC in the Reference field.
If paying in the Club please ensure you name is written on the envelope clearly and include Club Champs.
